I've been teaching private horn lessons off and on since 1998. I'm currently working on a horn method book focusing on the overtone series and effective practice techniques.
I've contracted with the local high school music program as an assistant marching band director and pit coach for winter guard. I also do minor instrument repair and LOVE to teach private horn lessons. As a side gig, I teach beginning classical guitar and tonal music theory.
In a private lesson, expect at first to spend as much time on HOW to practice effectively as on WHAT to practice. Besides that, I'm pretty good at adjusting to fit whatever your personal goals are. If you want to prepare to be a professional performer, I'll set you on that path. If you just want to play for fun, totally fine, and I'll help you wherever you are and as far as you want to go. Low pressure, or high pressure, whichever you want. |

$ 30.00 Dollars Per Hour
Most lessons are 30 minutes long ($15 for 30 min). Prices are negotiable, and bartering or service exchange is an acceptable payment method. I also allow group lessons for the price of one if you want to split the cost with someone. |
