Erin has most recently been appointed second horn of the Sarajevo Philharmonic through the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Academy of Arts and Sciences Cultural Exchange program. Erin will graduate with her master's in horn performance in August of 2012, studying horn with Bill Bernatis at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She received her bachelor of music degree (magna cum laude) in May 2010 from the Hartt School in West Hartford, CT, studying horn performance and music history. While at Hartt, she studied with NYC freelance artists Daniel Grabois and Peter Reit. Please visit Daniel Grabois’ official website, and check out his excellent etude books!
Erin served as a part-time instructor for the music department at UNLV, teaching beginning music theory to majors and non-majors from 2010-2012. She is a freelance hornist in the Las Vegas area, and has played for the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Lion King and Phantom of the Opera. Erin coaches the horn section of Foothill High School (Henderson) and is currently accepting private students. |
